At some point in life, we all need a little help finding our way back to our sense of self and security. Life events, a global pandemic, mental illness, substance abuse, and trauma can take us all off course. Therapy can be what helps to guide us back to our path. We believe healing occurs in the context of human relationships, so we take a relational approach to therapy. Understanding and finding satisfying relationships are vital to our mental health and life quality. Children, adolescents and adults all want to be heard and understood, and therapy can aid in finding emotional connection.
We are a boutique group practice, servicing clients across the lifespan. We have therapists that specialize in areas such as divorce, child welfare, childhood anxiety, adolescent and emerging adult development, ADHD, family reunification, parenting, women's issues, depression, anxiety and substance abuse. We take a multidimensional approach to our work and may use mindfulness techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment theories, and trauma informed approaches to inform our practice. Our clients (young and old) seek comfort in the therapeutic process. Many learn concrete ways to reduce anxiety and depression, while exploring relationships and understanding their emotional needs and desires.
“Life is a repeated cycle of getting lost and then finding yourself again. There are many smaller cycles within that cycle where you get lost to a smaller degree and then remember yourself again. Sometimes you do it to yourself on purpose, consciously or unconsciously. Every time you get lost it is so that you can learn something or experience something from a different perspective.” Jay Woodman.
We believe therapy can be what helps you find the best version of yourself.
We are a family-friendly practice committed to social justice and providing quality services to BIPOC communities. We utilize best practices to connect with adults, families and children.
