Jessica Mead, LCSW, CADC

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the owner of JMM Counseling, bringing 17 years of clinical experience working with adults and children affected by trauma and mental‑health issues.  Before opening my private practice in 2021, I served in a variety of roles: working in the addiction field with homeless adults, coordinating a grief‑support program for families bereaved by suicide, and managing a team of therapists serving students in school and foster‑care systems.

I hold certification as a CADC (Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor) and work with a range of clinical needs, from individuals wanting to reduce alcohol intake to individuals with severe dependency and needing medical detox. I am trained in the evidence‑based modality of Child‑Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), a dyadic, trauma‑informed approach designed for children under age five and their caregivers. In this modality, I work with parents and children together to express and re-process trauma. I also currently facilitate SPACE groups (Supporting Parents of Anxious Childhood Emotions) for parents with anxious children. This evidenced-based modality decreases symptoms of the child's anxiety, while also working to improve the quality of the child/parent relationship.

I specialize in issues related to traumatic grief and loss, children's trauma, physical and sexual abuse, and addiction. In my current practice, I also see clients suffering from general issues like anxiety, depression and stress.   My passion now lies in supporting parents—educating them about child development, guiding them through trauma‑informed parenting, and helping them build strong, healthy relationships with their children.

I attended the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign and received a BS in psychology. I obtained a Master’s degree in Social Worker from the University of Illinois-Chicago. I live in Chicago with my three children and spouse. I like cooking, long bike rides, and spending time outside with my family.

Danielle Renyer, LCSW

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and have spent my career providing therapeutic support to individuals and families all over the Chicagoland area. I spent the first half of my career providing brief treatment to children and adolescents on an inpatient psychiatric unit before transitioning to long term individual therapy. I am well versed in providing trauma informed care to individuals and families. I have experience providing support to individuals to decrease symptoms of anxiety and depression, work through life transitions or relationship issues, process abuse and neglect, and support individuals experiencing suicidal ideation and self-harming.

I take an empathetic and client centered approach to therapy, recognizing that it takes a lot of courage and vulnerability to take the steps towards making positive changes in your life. I believe that all individuals have the tools to be successful in life and empower clients to use their strengths to make change. I value the therapeutic relationship and take a collaborative approach to working with children and adolescents.

I attended the University of Arizona and have a BS in Family Studies and Human Development, and obtained my Master’s degree in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. I am certified in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

Tiffany Bowlby, LCSW

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and have more than ten years of experience providing therapy for children, adolescents, and families. I help people heal from stressful or upsetting experiences and build resilience to face life’s challenges. My style is supportive and non-judgmental. I help clients take a closer look at their thoughts and feelings to figure out what might be getting in their way. Together, we build coping skills aimed at restoring peace, joy, and connection.

I have worked in various settings, including in a hospital setting, where I worked with children with chronic illnesses and their families. This continues to be a special area of interest for me. I also have training and experience treating depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, and parenting concerns. I am trained in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Circle of Security Parenting (COS-P).

I received my BA in Anthropology from Connecticut College. I graduated from Washington University in St Louis with a master’s degree in social work. I live in Chicago with my partner and our child. I enjoy spending as much time outside as possible and especially love hiking, stand-up paddleboarding, and reading in a hammock.
